The Specialist level is the first of three levels on the EWF/IIW Welding Diploma
and is a valued qualification in its own right. To qualify you will need to complete
five or six modules (depending on experience), each lasting a week and culminating
in an exam. The modules cover topics such as welding processes and equipment, practical
welding technology, materials and their behaviour, construction and design, and
fabrication applications engineering.
