Candidates on the first courses to take place in TWI’s Iranian training facility since it was reopened earlier this year have provided excellent feedback on their experience.

The first course to take place in the reopened Tehran office, beginning on 30 April, was CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector. One of TWI’s most popular courses, the programme leads to internationally recognised certification in demand all over the world. The participants were all Iranian nationals from the oil and gas sector.

Then in mid-May a group of students employed by oil and gas and power companies active in the region undertook non-destructive testing training, gaining knowledge and skills in magnetic particle testing and penetrant inspection.

Both groups of students were very pleased with the training they received.

TWI Training and Examinations returned to Iran earlier this year, ending a hiatus on training delivery in the country brought about by the political situation. A range of courses are now available from the centre; in May and June scheduled programmes include CSWIP Painting Inspection, CSWIP Ultrasonic Testing and another CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector course.

To celebrate its return to Iran, TWI Persia is offering a 30 per cent discount on training fees (examination fees are excluded) for all customers who register and attend a course before 30 September 2016.
