MMA wet welding to AWS D3.6 codings course routinely available in Middlesbrough, UK

This course is scheduled monthly from August 2010 at TWI's Underwater Centre in Middlesbrough, UK.

The package (9 day training and 1 day exam) is aimed at professional divers who wish to further their experience in MMA wet welding techniques. Successful completion of this programme demonstrates to employers the high standard that a diver is able to achieve.

The course covers theoretical instruction including weld terminology, weld design, weld defects and applications; dry practical exercises including bead-on-plate and fillet welds; comprehensive tuition on underwater wet welding techniques and practical exercises; welding test to AWS D3.6 Class B coding witnessed by Lloyd's Register of Shipping.

The certification is issued by TWI Certification Ltd and Lloyd's Register of Shipping.
