Canada has had one of the fastest economic growth rates in the G-7 over the last
ten years, and Calgary, Alberta is a hotspot for the oil and gas industry, being
home to more than 60 per cent of the country's conventional crude oil reserves and
all of its heavy oil and oil sands reserves and petrochemicals. The need for a competent
workforce to supply this industry has been steadily growing, and as a world leader
in engineering and technology, TWI is best placed to deliver this type of competency
based training in welding inspection and non-destructive testing.
