TWI Nigeria celebrates the first of many open BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2 Painting Inspection courses

Having completed the course, candidates will be competent in being able to recognise and identify the benefits and disadvantages of different paint systems and surface preparations. They will also be able to understand the various methods of application and testing, as well as being able to interpret requirements of standards. This will ensure that candidates are then fully equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to carry out accurate painting inspections.

The six candidates all provided very positive feedback, and are now eagerly anticipating their exam results. Once qualified, they will hold the BGAS-CSWIP certification, recognised worldwide by employers and other industry stakeholders as an international mark of competence. This will be the first of many BGAS-CSWIP Painting and Site Coating Inspection courses to run in Nigeria as demand for such specialty skills increases. Several courses have already been scheduled throughout the rest of 2013, with additional courses planned for 2014. Click on course schedule to view a full list in Nigeria.
