For companies to comply with the ISO 3834 certification scheme they must have a suitably qualified Welding Co-ordinator in accordance with ISO 14731 entitled 'Welding Co-ordination Tasks and Responsibilities'.
With the introduction of the new scheme TWI offers a comprehensive service of compliance assessment and certification in accordance with both ISO 3834 and ISO 14731.
TWI's HSE Division has been regularly running successful NEBOSH and IOSH occupational health and safety courses in several Middle East countries, the Caspian and North Africa.
At the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) course recently run by TWI HSE in Cairo a 100% pass rate was achieved by candidates at their first attempt.
Dubai and Bahrain...home of the regional centres of TWI's Middle Eastern operation
March 2007 saw the opening of the Dubai Training Centre in Knowledge Village. Originally intended to service the training requirements of the UAE it has already attracted candidates from as far afield as the former Soviet Union.
