API Q2 is the first management system specification that meets the unique and requirements for the petroleum, oil and gas service sector. API Q2 was developed by a group of industry experts consisting of operators, service providers and reputable consultants. This courses covers the API Q2 Body of Knowledge (BOK) along with the skills necessary to effectively audit the specification.
This 5-day course provides participants with the understanding, knowledge, and skills needed to carry out successful internal and external audits. The latest methodologies, practices, and techniques are presented as well as practical application for the petroleum, oil and gas industry.
This course utilizes a combination of lecture, examination and group exercises to ensure each participant understands how to properly analyze, audit, document, report findings, concerns, and observations. This course teaches the essential requirements on how to effectively audit the API Q2 Specification. It focuses on the new controls and the expectations from the service industry. This course demonstrates how to audit these controls for maximum effectiveness.
Participants that complete this course will receive a unique tracking and certification number and the designation of Q2 Lead Auditor along with an unique registration number issued by WPAG. WPAG is the official developer of the API-U training program for API Q2 Specification and auditing protocols and trains all other authorized API-U providers around the world.
