A recent study by TWI highlighted
the industry's need for plant inspection personnel to gain certification in plant
integrity management. TWI responded to this by offering an internationally recognised
CSWIP Plant Inspection training scheme in a
modular format at three competency levels (1,2 and 3), giving prospective
students the opportunity to follow a clearly defined and structured career path.
These modules have been run successfully in the UK, South East Asia and Turkey and
are now available in Abu Dhabi.
The scheme is designed to suit plant inspectors working for manufacturing works
(Vendor), inspection organisations, equipment owners and operators, classification
societies, insurance companies and safety regulators. The courses have three goals:
Level 1 consists of two 5-day
modules and can be accessed from various routes: NDT and/or welding inspection route
or direct entry.

Students must attend Part A before attending Part B.
