Sharp upturn in business for TWI in Saudi Arabia
The presence of two
active TWI training agents and the release of major projects in both the Oil
& Gas and Petrochemical sectors have resulted in a sharp upturn in business
in Saudi Arabia. In April, five courses covering CSWIP Welding Inspection and BGAS-CSWIP
Painting Inspection were delivered to full classes - back to a level not seen since
2008 before the financial crisis.
TWI is therefore delighted to announce its co-operation in establishing a vocational
training school for Saudi nationals in the eastern province of KSA. Several visits
were made by senior management representatives of ADAMS (Al Gosaibi Diving &
Marine Services) to TWI's headquarters in Cambridge, UK, which convinced them that
co-operation with TWI was the best solution to enable them to realise their
ambitious plans for a state-of-the-art training centre in Jubail.
The agreement was signed in the ADAMS office in Bahrain, by Salah Al Gosaibi, the
Managing Director and owner of ADAMS, and Brian Hunt the TWI Middle East Regional
The agreement signed with this prestigious Saudi company will not only enhance TWI's
profile within the Kingdom but also help the introduction of new services.
