TWI extends its training programme in South Africa

In October 2011, more than 70 students attended TWI's training programmes in Cape Town. The courses delivered were the CSWIP Welding Inspection courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3 and bridging courses from SAIW Levels 1 and 2 to CSWIP Welding Inspection and Senior Welding Inspection.

The demand and feedback for these courses was such that in 2012, TWI is widening the range of training courses offered to include the following:

• CSWIP Welding Quality Control Co-ordinator
• BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspection - Grade 2
• BGAS-CSWIP Site Coatings Inspector
• CSWIP Plant Inspector Level 1 - Module 1 Part A: Rules/Regulations and Duties
• CSWIP Plant Inspector Level 1 - Module 1 Part B: Inspection Methods

The venues will be Johannesburg for the February and September courses and Cape Town for the December programme.
