As reconstruction continues and investment in the oil and gas industry in Iraq increases,
so does the demand for TWI’s training and CSWIP certification, which is recognised
worldwide by employers and other industry stakeholders as an international mark
of competence. Massoud Nikoojoy, TWI’s country manager, Iraq, is now delighted to
announce the introduction of NDT courses to his training portfolio, starting with
Radiographic Interpretation (RI) - Light & Dense Metal Welds (Part
B) on the 18 January 2013.
TWI is well known for providing welding inspection engineering, training and certification
to workers in Iraq, to the internationally recognised CSWIP standard. There are
many international oil and gas companies with a global reach that have a presence
in Iraq, and this drives the substantial requirement for personnel working in this
industry to gain recognised certification as confirmation of their competence and
skill. Employers have become more rigorous in their attention to health and safety
and as such it is crucial to them that their staff members have the competence training
to ensure a high quality of work and a minimal amount of risk.
TWI now runs the following courses in Iraq.
