What will I leave with?

To equip the attendee with an appreciation of the SLM process. This will include an understanding of the advantages and limitations of SLM, the associated equipment and hardware and the end-to-end manufacturing process chain, including metal powders, component design and optimisation, derivation of SLM process parameters, post processing, cost issues and the certification and validation of SLM components.
