CSWIP Welding Inspector Course Launches Online
One of TWI Training's most popular courses, CSWIP Welding Inspector, is now available to study online. The recently launched course has already attracted over 100 candidates who are keen to take advantage of the flexibility offered by this training option.
The course is now available online, with candidates only required to attend a training venue to complete the practical aspects of the course and the examination. This means that attendance at a training centre has been reduced from 5 days to 2, allowing candidates the flexibility to learn at their own pace in their own time.
As with our classroom-based courses, a lecturer will be available to answer any questions during the online learning. Students will have access to course notes, PowerPoint presentations and pre-course learning materials to help prepare for the final exam. Course material is available for 60 days, although this can be extended until an exam date is secured. While a small deposit is payable to access the online learning materials, any outstanding balance is not required until a date for the practical aspects and the exam have been confirmed - which is particularly relevant at this time.
Candidates have already begun to provide positive feedback from the course, noting how the lecturers are willing to help with queries as well as being attentive and easy to contact. As well as answering questions, the lecturers made sure to make the trainees feel at ease by contacting them as required to talk through the course in general.
The homework has been described as 'both engaging and challenging' with one candidate noting, 'the main benefit that I have enjoyed is being able to pause and replay what is being explained and being able to go back to the topics if I'm unsure.'
This flexible learning aspect was also mentioned by other candidates, while the booking process and administrative support was also found to be good. With an easy to follow format, the new online course has allowed people to learn new skills and progress their career wherever they are based. One candidate went on to explain that the top benefit was 'not needing to take a week away from work and being able to study in my own time and when I am able to.'
Online training is proving to be particularly popular during the Coronavirus pandemic and more courses are being added to our suite of online learning options all the time. The next CSWIP course available online will be the Senior Welding Inspector which will be online in the next few weeks.
