CSWIP Welding Inspector to CSWIP Plastic Welding Inspector
There is a huge number of new plastic pipelines currently being installed for utility services in the UK, and further afield, which is creating opportunities for those trained and qualified in their inspection. To help meet demand and realise this potential, TWI is offering a two-day transition course, with our expert staff, suitable for those who currently work as metal inspectors and wish to understand, identify and report better on the inspection of welded plastic pipes.
This course is built for inspectors that currently hold CSWIP Welding Inspector (fusion) – Level 2 Certification (3.1) or above. It provides candidates with an understanding of the thermoplastic materials used in piping systems, the welding techniques used to join them and inspection techniques and methodology.
