One of our training candidates, Adrian Iordache, a seasoned CSWIP Welding Inspector with two decades of experience in onshore and offshore environments, recently embarked on a journey of professional development at TWI in Cambridge. Under the expert guidance of our training team, Adrian refreshed his skills and updated his knowledge on the latest welding standards and techniques, such as those set by the American Welding Society (AWS), the International Institute of Welding (IIW), and the European Welding Federation (EWF). This training not only reinforced Adrian's expertise, but also equipped him with the tools to navigate the evolving landscape of the welding industry. With his refreshed training and existing wealth of experience, he's ready to embrace new opportunities that align with his passion for welding and NDT.

There are still many welding tasks that can’t be automated, as well as times when it is simply more efficient to use a human welder.

While robots excel in repetitive tasks and high volume production, skilled welders possess the adaptability and problem-solving capabilities necessary for complex projects and unpredictable scenarios.
