Full Course of CSWIP Welding Inspector Students

Dave Clark, senior welding inspector, travelled all the way from his work base at the Middlesbrough office to teach this week to a full course of students attending their 𝗖𝗦π—ͺπ—œπ—£ π—ͺ𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗢𝗻𝗴 π—œπ—»π˜€π—½π—²π—°π˜π—Όπ—Ώ course at TWI Cambridge. 

The CSWIP Welding Inspector course is designed for inspection engineers and supervisory staff.

For those with little to no welding experience, we advise that they attend the Certificate in Visual Inspection of Welds course prior, for preparation to attend this course.

Entry Requirements include:

• A minimum of 3 years welding inspection experience related to the duties and responsibilities listed in Clause 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 under qualified supervision, independently verified
OR
• CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector for a minimum of 2 years with job responsibilities in the areas listed in 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 above
OR
• CSWIP Welding Instructor, CSWIP Welding Supervisor or Welding Foreman for a minimum of one year. In addition to all of the above, candidates must comply with Clause 1.3.4.

All experience will need to be verified by either your previous/present employer/company.
