The Welding Institute facilitates a number of Technical Groups giving its Members a unique opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest, promoting the exchange of ideas and sharing of experience.

Traditionally, Technical Group Meetings traditionally took place in person, but since Covid-19, these events have moved online thus giving the opportunity for people globally to attend.

The presentations are varied but mainly focus on recent industry practices, advancements, research and standards. The topics are chosen to encompass the current interests of Professional Members as well as industry overall. Speakers include leading researchers and engineering practitioners who offer a unique insight and perspective into their area of expertise.

At the end of the webinars, you get the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session with the speakers.
