UKAS Accreditation Restored for TWI Certification

TWI Certification Ltd is pleased to confirm that its full UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17024 has been restored, effective 21 August 2026, under accreditation number 0025.

The reinstatement follows a comprehensive review undertaken in collaboration with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). During the review period, TWI Certification completed all required actions and further strengthened the processes supporting its certification activities.

The restoration of accreditation means that TWI Certification is once again able to issue UKAS-accredited certificates, with certification documentation carrying the standard UKAS accreditation symbol.

What does this mean for the candidates?

Candidates who have successfully met the relevant certification requirements can now receive UKAS-accredited certification.

Applications are being processed in date order, with certificates and certification documentation being issued as quickly as possible as applications progress through the certification process.

The reinstatement provides continued assurance to candidates, employers and industry stakeholders that TWI Certification's accredited certification services operate with a strong focus on integrity, impartiality and competence.

The review process has also provided an opportunity to further strengthen certification arrangements and enhance the robustness of the processes supporting accredited services.
