WeldJoinExpo 2026

The Welding, Joining and Manufacturing Conference and Exhibition (#WELDJOINEXPO26) is a free-to-attend, flagship event for welding, joining and allied technologies, taking place at TWI Cambridge on the 7th of July, 2026.

As the premier event for welding, joining and allied technologies in the UK, WeldJoinExpo26 will bring together experts and professionals from across industry for keynote speeches, presentations, and industry-specific workshops and seminars covering the aerospace, defence, nuclear, oil and gas, and space sectors. These will provide both pre-booked, sector-specific meetings for TWI Industrial Members, as well as open access sessions covering different industries and capabilities. Alongside these industry-specific areas, there will be an industry-wide, NDT area including presentations and live demonstrations. In addition, WeldJoinExpo will feature dedicated areas providing information about the TWI Library, TWI Certification, and the benefits of Professional Membership with The Welding Institute.

As part of WELDJOINEXPO26, TWI / The Welding Institute have partnered with Industrial Member, JCB, for a day of skills seminars, speeches, presentations, and more, to be held in an exclusive 'Skills Zone,' which has been created to help address the theme of the skills gap in welding and inspection. As well as the presentations, this area will provide ample opportunity to network with experts in training, certification, and engineering career development.

We understand that the skills gap is a real concern for industry, so are delighted to be able to invite 50+ JCB welding and inspection apprentices to WeldJoinExpo, so we can help inspire the next generation too. WeldJoinExpo26 will also host the East of England Skillweld regional finals, which are aimed at trainee/apprentice welders working and/or training in the welding industry at level 2-3 or higher level.

In addition to this, there will be ample opportunity for you to network with other attendees and speak with experts from TWI and The Welding Institute during the event, as well as an exhibition providing a relaxed environment where you can explore the latest in welding, joining, and allied technologies, services, and support.

Attendees will also have the chance to take a tour of our facilities, and those attending the expo will also receive an event pack including an exhibitor guide, TWI brochure, and event gift.

Registration is free for attendees, for further queries, please contact Becki Parratt (becki.parratt@twi.co.uk).
