BGAS-CSWIP Senior Pipeline Inspector Course in Cambridge
TWI Training is currently delivering the BGAS-CSWIP Senior Pipeline Inspector course and exam package at its Cambridge training centre, with the three-day programme running from 10 – 12 March, 2026.
The course has welcomed four candidates who are undertaking a structured programme, combining classroom learning with practical inspection training. The course is being led by Richard Green, with Andreas Sotiropoulos supporting the delivery of laboratory-based practical sessions.
During the programme, candidates have been alternating between technical lectures and hands-on training. Following classroom sessions with Richard, participants move to the magnetic particle testing and penetrant testing laboratories, where Andreas provides practical instruction in inspection techniques before the group returns to the classroom for further lectures. This blended format enables candidates to connect theoretical understanding with practical inspection methods used within pipeline integrity management.
The BGAS-CSWIP Senior Pipeline Inspector certification is intended for professionals responsible for overseeing pipeline inspection activities and supporting compliance with industry standards. The course provides advanced knowledge of inspection responsibilities and practices associated with maintaining the safety and reliability of pipeline infrastructure.
The programme will conclude on 12 March, 2026, when candidates will complete the examination component as part of the full course and exam package.
