Managing Safely is designed for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation worldwide.

What will I learn?

The course covers the following modules:

Introducing managing safely
Assessing risks
Controlling risks
Understanding your responsibilities
Understanding hazards
Investigating incidents
Measuring performance

What will I leave with?

This course will enable managers and supervisors to gain knowledge and tools to tackle the safety and health issues they are responsible for.

What else should I know?

This 3-day course is classroom-based. The assessment is through a written multi-choice examination and there is a practical application-based project.

Successful candidates will be awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely.
