Do I have to bring my own diving equipment?

No, all diving equipment is provided for courses and examinations taken place at TWI facilities.

How long are the CSWIP qualifications valid?

All CSWIP underwater qualifications are valid for 5 years. The certificates are renewed by attending an examination at an approved TWI centre.

Where can I take the CSWIP Underwater courses?

TWI has diving facilities in Middlesbrough in the UK, Chonburi in Thailand and Baku, Azerbaijan – this is where the 3.1U and 3.2U NDT Inspection training and examinations take place. For courses that do not require a diving tank (3.3U ROV Inspector and 3.4U Underwater Inspection Controller) the venues are worldwide.

My certificate is up for renewal, how do I do this?

To renew your certification you will need to successfully complete a renewal examination. A renewal examination can be taken from 6 months prior to the expiry date upon till the ticket expires. We would strongly advise attending refresher training prior to your examination.
